RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. Just a reminder school will dismiss Friday at 1:00 pm for Winter Break. We will return to school rested and ready to prepare for the end of the semester on Thursday, January 2.

Just a reminder, the 7th Grade production of A Christmas Carol is Tuesday Night. Our students would love to see you there.


The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.


Follow the yellow brick road to Uwharrie Ridge this Friday at 6:30 and Saturday at 2:00 as we present Christmas in the Land of Oz! Join Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, plus other traditional and new characters as they celebrate the holidays in a way only Oz can! Help make our show ✨popular✨.
Admission is $5.


Please join us on Friday, December 13, for our annual FFA Christmas Party. After school, we will meet in the Media Center to enjoy hot cocoa, Christmas snacks, and reindeer games. Everyone must have their rides here to pick them up out front no later than 5:30 p.m.

Due to the inclement weather and road conditions, all schools will be closed today (12/3/24). As a result of this decision, today (12/3/24) will become an optional teacher workday.


The Randolph County School System's Career and Technical Education Department held its third annual "From Classroom to Career" event on Friday, November 22, at Journey Church in Asheboro. This Career Expo, designed as part of the college and career pathway, specifically targets high school juniors. With nearly 50 industry partners and various branches of the armed forces present, students had the opportunity to engage with employers and explore the wide range of career opportunities available within the 16 career clusters.
