Biography
Hello. I am excited to begin my first year as CDC at Uwharrie Ridge 6-12. I have been a CTE teacher for 25 years teaching a variety of courses including Microsoft, Adobe, and STEM. Throughout my years of teaching I have had the opportunity to help students find careers that interest them, so becoming a Career Development Coordinator will allow me to continue to help student pursue their career goals.
I am a 1998 graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Education. I also went to Appalachian State University and earned my Masters degree in Instructional Technology in 2003. I am an avid runner and have completed two full marathons and countless half marathons. I love to read and my favorite place is any North Carolina beach!
